Request an Awareness Camp

We bring the team, the speakers and the material. You provide a room and the people. There is no charge, and there never will be.

Formats

Three kinds of camp

60–90 minutes

Awareness session

A talk on organ donation with a trained counsellor present, followed by open questions — which is the part that matters and usually runs long. Pledge registration available afterwards for anyone who wants it.

You need: a room, seating, and a projector if possible
Works for: colleges, offices, societies, faith institutions

Half or full day

Health screening camp

Blood pressure, blood sugar, haemoglobin, basic eye checks and a doctor's consultation, with written referrals for anyone who needs follow-up.

You need: a hall, tables and chairs, water, electricity
Works for: villages, housing societies, worksites

Full day

Blood donation drive

Run with a licensed blood bank, which handles all collection and storage. We handle mobilisation, registration and the day's logistics.

You need: a clean indoor space and at least 50 likely donors
Works for: colleges, corporate offices, large societies

Be realistic with us

What makes a camp work — or waste everyone's day

Camps that work

  • Someone local takes responsibility for gathering people
  • Announced a week ahead, door to door or in a group
  • Scheduled when people are actually free, not when the venue is
  • A quiet corner available for private questions
  • Someone willing to speak first, so others follow

Camps that disappoint

  • Attendance made compulsory — people resent it and stop listening
  • Scheduled during exams, harvest or a festival week
  • Organised entirely by email with nobody mobilising on the ground
  • Treated as a photo opportunity with a target number of pledges
  • No follow-up, so nothing that happened is ever built on

We do not set pledge targets, and we ask you not to either. A camp where forty people leave genuinely informed and nobody pledges is a success. A camp where two hundred signatures are collected under pressure is not, because almost none of those people will mention it at home.

Please give us at least three weeks. Mobilisation is what decides whether a camp works, and it cannot be rushed.
