Who we are

A foundation built around one simple idea

That the end of one life should not be the end of nine others — and that a family's circumstances should never decide whether a child finishes school.

Vrindvila Foundation works across Uttar Pradesh and neighbouring states to make organ donation a conversation families have before they are forced to. Alongside it, we run education, health and welfare programmes for the communities we serve.

  • Registered under 12A and 80G — donations are tax exempt
  • Every pledge is forwarded to the national registry (NOTTO)
  • Audited accounts and annual reports published openly

Let's clear the doubts

Myths & facts about organ donation

"Doctors won't try as hard to save me"

Fact: the team treating you is entirely separate from any transplant team. Donation is only considered after death has been independently certified under the Transplantation of Human Organs Act.

"My religion does not allow it"

Fact: all major faiths practised in India regard saving a life as among the highest acts of service, and many religious leaders have pledged their own organs.

"I'm too old or too unwell to donate"

Fact: there is no upper age limit for pledging. Doctors assess suitability organ by organ at the time, and many donate corneas, skin or tissue.

"The family has to pay, or can sell organs"

Fact: the donor's family never pays and never receives payment. Buying or selling organs is a criminal offence in India, and allocation is handled by the government registry.
